It's
always surprising knowing somebody reaching the age of 23 or 24 to be a
virgin still. For Pinay this is just part of the culture and for sure
no "Pinay scandal". And even now that everything is fast moving you
wouldn't expect marrying somebody who is a virgin still. Surprising?
Well not for Pinay and Filipino girl. I guess even though everything
happens so fast, Filipinas "Pinays" still remain to be conservative.
Despite the liberated influences from other big cities, most of them
still, and will always remain virgin until they get married.
You wouldn't see a girl who's
reserved and still untouched by other men in any big and emerging
cities other than in Philippines. If you are even planning to marry
one, you wouldn't even be scared if she was married before or not. Or
was she some kind of lunatic that she got married and got divorce for a
couple of times. Pinay are Family-oriented, reserved and shy, most of
them stay with their parents until she gets married. This is why almost
all Pinay are still virgins. When you are their first, you guys might
end up together getting married.
When young couples before are
learned that they had sexual intercourse, both parents from each side
talk & plan on the wedding already. Virginity has been an issue
between pinay teenagers and their parents. Kids don't open up and just
talk simply because they're shy to open this topic to their parents.
Why of course sex education isn't that open in the Philippines until
your getting married. It's even funny because with the lack of sex
education before, Pinays even thought that you'll get pregnant by just
letting a guy kiss you in the lips. They're even accustomed to falling
in love with guys 10 years older than them.
It was shameful for them when you
get pregnant without even getting married. So what happens if the Pinay
gets pregnant? Parents push through the wedding earlier as possible
before the evidence pops out. Parents disowned you for getting pregnant
without a father for the child. They don't even tolerate the living-in
situation of couples, because they believe that couples must get
married first before they live together. But of course slowly these
circumstances are being accustomed by Filipinos already. Virgin
Filipinas are now loosing it at the age of 19-23 instead of the usual
age range 23 to 27. Well, virgin or not virgin, we all know that
Filipinas are better wives.
